Karen Windle

Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Lives and works in Adelaide, South Australia

"I get great joy from following the curve of a petal or the flick of a cat’s tail… but it is colour, the sunny yellows, rich purples, and bright orange that feed my need to paint.

The world is filled with such beauty and such glorious colour.

I imagine my paintbrush will always be busy."

I share my studio and home with many four-legged friends and my husband, travel writer and photographer, Dave Underwood.

My work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout Australia and internationally in many countries including Japan, Ireland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland and the U.S.A.
